Exhibition

During the exhibition period, the Felleshus of the Nordic Embassies will be transformed into a children’s house of culture. Here you can visit the Nordic Embassies with your friends, your parents or your kindergarten or school teachers and take part in creative activities. The exhibition consists of six thematic areas with lots of opportunities for playing and learning and is especially directed towards children from 5 to 8 years of age.

Word – Here you can:

Browse in Danish children’s books, become a literary critic for children’s books, help out in the literary lost-and-found office and go on an alphabet letter hunt.

Picture – Here you can:

Work like an artist: Let yourself be inspired by Danish artworks and make collages, draw your own mini-comics inspired by short Danish stories and more…

Space – Here you can:

Build houses and other things with Danish building bricks, take part in a ”trip“ to the Nordic countries to learn more about them and their natural landscape and buildings.

Body – Here you can:

Play with the giant cube by Piet Hein and try out other fascinating toys.

Energy – Here you can:

Build a virtual windmill with Windfried’s wind energy, test how a radio can operate with solar cells and become a master at saving electricity.

Sound – Here you can:

Go on a sound safari: In the musical composition ”Symphonye Naturae“ by the Danish composer Henning Christiansen, which can be heard in the whole building, animals are ”hidden“ – guess which animals and take part in a prize drawing competition.
